Ons visie: Table View gemeente: waar elkeen iemand is.
Rigtinggewende teks: “Ek sal jou seën en jou ‘n mens van groot betekenis maak, en jy
moet tot ‘n seën wees.” (Genesis 12:2)
Ons droom: Table View gemeente wil ‘n omhelsende, inklusiewe, liefdesgemeenskap vorm
wat ruimte skep vir jonk en oud. ‘n Plek waar almal tot hoopvolheid begelei en toegerus
word, sodat elkeen ‘n onselfsugtige, diensbare getuie sal wees tot eer van God.
Ons waardes
Eenvoud: Ons streef om ‘n gemeente te wees wat dankbaar is, wat weet wat regtig
belangrik is en wat tevrede en verantwoordelik sal wees in goeie en uitdagende tye.
Betekenisvolle verhoudinge: Ons streef na ‘n betekenisvolle en groeiende verhouding met
God en ‘n inklusiewe, omhelsende, nie-veroordelende en verwelkomende verhouding met
mekaar en ander.
Gestuurdheid: As God se gestuurdes streef ons daarna om diensbare getuies in ons
gemeente en gemeenskap te wees.
Egtheid: Ons streef om ‘n gemeente te wees waar mense hulleself (eg) kan wees; waar ons
nie bang is om foute te maak nie en waar daar ruimte is vir verskille.

Vision: Table View congregation: where everybody is somebody.
Our sacred text: “I will make you into a great nation, and I will bless you; I will make your
name great, and you will be a blessing. (Genesis 12: 2)
Our dream: Table View congregation wants to be an embracing, inclusive, loving community
with space for young and old. We want to be a place where everybody is guided towards
hope, and to be unselfish and serving witnesses to the glory of God.
Our values
1) Simplicity: We strive to be thankful, to know what is really important, and to be content
and responsible in good and challenging times.
2) Meaningful relationships: We strive for a significant and growing relationship with God
and an inclusive, embracing, non-judgmental, and welcoming relationship with others.
3) Missional: As people sent by God, we strive to be serving witnesses in our congregation
and our community.
4) Authenticity: We strive to be a congregation where people can be themselves
(authentic); where you can make mistakes and where there is space for differences.
